Bucksville

Feature Film Trailer

A thinking person’s vigilante film, “Bucksville” is indie director Chel White’s debut feature film. The fictional story is about a young man (Thomas Stroppel) who struggles to leave a violent, small town militia started by his father and controlled by a billionaire militia kingpin (Tom Berenger). Completed in 2012 and released on DVD in 2014, the film is hauntingly prophetic in the wake of the Trump election and Malheur Wildlife Refuge occupation. Amid themes of ethics and family conflict, the film’s “Take back America” maxim is an eerie precursor to Trump’s “Make America great again.”
